Memories can be lost forever if they are not recorded, traditionally they have been passed down by word of mouth from generation to generation! How many memories fade or get confused after a while?  Some people have written their memories and secrets in diaries then they have been buried in drawers or left to decay in forgotten boxes in the loft.

VidiNostalgia will use digital technology to sensitively record memories and family functions, weddings and events keeping them secure and safe for the future.

We will permanently store these sensitive and valued memories and bring them to life whenever your family or friends want to share them

VidiNostalgia will record your memories using either a Video Camera or a Digital Voice Recorder or a mixture of both, we can copy your own photographs from family albums, take new photographs or convert your old family cine films and link them all together to create a permanent historic record of your memories to pass to your children, grand children and their children. Our digital media will not fade, tear, break or get lost

Using the latest digital media to record your memories we will ensure that any pictures and voice recordings will always be available at the highest quality for future enjoyment.

Just imagine what it would be like to actually watch and listen to your great grandparents, see where and how they lived all those years ago. You could hear and see more than a faded photograph of their family at a wedding or birthday party, playing with their pets or enjoying their favourite activity – sailing, walking, gardening etc.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

VidiNostalgia will arrange to meet you at your home or a special location or venue that you select, we will set up the recording equipment and talk through what you want to say, we will only record what you want us to and when we have edited the material you will be able to check the content before we send it out to your family using either the internet or a DVD.

This ultimately depends on how long we spend working with you to complete the project but we will always make sure you are given a brief outline of the planned recording and a price in writing for you to approve before we start working with you.

Options to consider:-

Audio:         Using a Digital Voice Recorder to record your memories to play back in sound only, called a “podcast” just like your very own radio show.

AudioPix:   In addition to the basic Audio Package we will scan your old photographs and using any digital pictures you may already have, or we can take some more, we will create an audio / visual montage of pictures with your narrative description as a Voice Over.

Video: We record your memories using High Definition video and audio, maybe using a relative to prompt you or one of our own production assistants helping you recall your memories.

VidiPix: A mixture of Video / Audio and Photographs making a complete Digital Nostalgic memory for family and friends to enjoy in the future.

Many wedding videographers do fixed “Packages” for a set fee, at Vidibiz we are known for not being conventional in our approach to business. We are of the opinion that EVERYONE is entitled to a videographic memory of their special day and that is more important than the cost, as a result we work to your budget not our price.

We work on the principle of agreeing the minimum we will film for a fixed price – and it usually works out we always film more, our typical cost for a single camera wedding is typically in the region of £750. If more cameras are required we will be happy to agree the best price with you.

We will undertake to video those parts of your wedding that you consider to be the most important and we will agree a budget that is fair and equitable to our business and your purse!

Payment terms are £100 deposit with order, 50% of balance to be paid 4 weeks before the wedding, 25% 7 days before the wedding with the final balance paid before delivery of the final edit.

We will supply you with 3 copies of the DVD as part of the price, extra copies are available on request for an agreed charge.

Copyright licenses are required by law and will be charged as cost.

Choosing a Videographer
Vidibiz has always recognised and promoted Videography as an art form. Each Videographer will have his or her own particular style and no two wedding videos will be the same. This individual style is what many couples base their decision on.

Ask the Right Questions
In most instances the Vidibiz will personally meet you in your home or at our studio. This gives you the opportunity to ask important questions about our service and the way in which we operate our business.

Contracts
Because each wedding video is different you must be sure that the Vidibiz knows exactly what you want included. Vidibiz produce standard contracts which state times and locations for the wedding along with details on the terms of engagement. A clearly defined contract will lessen the chance of disappointment in the finished product

Insurance & Copyright
Vidibiz offer a professional wedding video service and have Public Liability Insurance, even though they are not legally bound to do so.

Vidibiz will also obtain the appropriate copyright licences to record the wedding service and any other copyright material that is included in the video

How much should you spend on a wedding video?

The cost of the production is dependent on a number of factors, principally the range of services which vary in the extent of coverage, e.g. from the Bride’s house to the first dance, or the wedding service only. Vidibiz only use professional or even broadcast quality equipment and offer fully edited and/or multiple camera productions.

The cost, therefore, is directly linked to the level of service and the expertise of the Videographer/Editor. Cutting costs may mean compromising on both, so never base your decision on price alone. Vidibiz may not be the lowest price company – but others know what their service is worth !!!!

Booking Advice
As wedding videography is a seasonal business Vidibiz will become booked months if not years in advance. The Videographer should be booked at the same time as other services such as photographers and caterers.

J Class Yachting Regatta 2012

The legend lives  ….  is a DVD  being created by Vidibiz during the summer of 2012 that shows the magnificently majestic images of some of the greatest yachts in the world. The J Class yachts will be captured on film and in photographs, by Vidibiz, racing in both the challenging waters of Falmouth, home of the historic Clipper Yachts in the Duchy of Cornwall and later in The Solent, a mecca for all in the yacht racing world, in the centre of the South Coast of England. The J Class yachts visually represent the most spectacular sailing action in the world of classic yachts.

We will show some of the action filmed during a series of the challenging races at both locations, finishing with the classic “Hundred Guinea Cup” in which the J Class yachts race the original 75 mile America’s Cup course “clockwise” around the Isle of Wight, just as it was first raced back in the summer of 1851.

Velsheda, Lionheart, Endeavour, Ranger and Rainbow, mighty ambassadors of the growing J Class yachting family, have travelled to the UK from across the globe to meet in the Olympic summer of 2012 to challenge each other with the single objective to race and win!

Our film will show these exceptionally engineered yachts, based on designs originally conceived around 100 years ago. Each boat is crewed by a team of up to 30 and they move with immense power through tidal waters with a regal elegance and an immortal spirit that represents the absolute pinnacle of modern racing yacht design technology.

Vidibiz will show some of the history, the build up and preparation by each of these superb yachts as they get ready to approach the race line, wait for the starting flag and then powered only by the wind and tide challenge each other with that one common objective ………….. to win!

We will talk with some of the Owners, the Captains and Crew of each of the J Class yachts who tell some of the stories behind the ocean crossings and races. As we get to know them we will hear what it takes to be part of the race team and we learn something of the sporting rivalry and what it is really like to be involved with the greatest yachts in the world, Vidibiz will take you inside the J Class and show just how ……. the legend lives!
