Many wedding videographers do fixed “Packages” for a set fee, at Vidibiz we are known for not being conventional in our approach to business. We are of the opinion that EVERYONE is entitled to a videographic memory of their special day and that is more important than the cost, as a result we work to your budget not our price.
We work on the principle of agreeing the minimum we will film for a fixed price – and it usually works out we always film more, our typical cost for a single camera wedding is typically in the region of £750. If more cameras are required we will be happy to agree the best price with you.
We will undertake to video those parts of your wedding that you consider to be the most important and we will agree a budget that is fair and equitable to our business and your purse!
Payment terms are £100 deposit with order, 50% of balance to be paid 4 weeks before the wedding, 25% 7 days before the wedding with the final balance paid before delivery of the final edit.
We will supply you with 3 copies of the DVD as part of the price, extra copies are available on request for an agreed charge.
Copyright licenses are required by law and will be charged as cost.
Choosing a Videographer
Vidibiz has always recognised and promoted Videography as an art form. Each Videographer will have his or her own particular style and no two wedding videos will be the same. This individual style is what many couples base their decision on.
Ask the Right Questions
In most instances the Vidibiz will personally meet you in your home or at our studio. This gives you the opportunity to ask important questions about our service and the way in which we operate our business.
Contracts
Because each wedding video is different you must be sure that the Vidibiz knows exactly what you want included. Vidibiz produce standard contracts which state times and locations for the wedding along with details on the terms of engagement. A clearly defined contract will lessen the chance of disappointment in the finished product
Insurance & Copyright
Vidibiz offer a professional wedding video service and have Public Liability Insurance, even though they are not legally bound to do so.
Vidibiz will also obtain the appropriate copyright licences to record the wedding service and any other copyright material that is included in the video
How much should you spend on a wedding video?
The cost of the production is dependent on a number of factors, principally the range of services which vary in the extent of coverage, e.g. from the Bride’s house to the first dance, or the wedding service only. Vidibiz only use professional or even broadcast quality equipment and offer fully edited and/or multiple camera productions.
The cost, therefore, is directly linked to the level of service and the expertise of the Videographer/Editor. Cutting costs may mean compromising on both, so never base your decision on price alone. Vidibiz may not be the lowest price company – but others know what their service is worth !!!!
Booking Advice
As wedding videography is a seasonal business Vidibiz will become booked months if not years in advance. The Videographer should be booked at the same time as other services such as photographers and caterers.
